On June 9, Dr Levi Bryant will give an open lecture at Litteraturhuset in Oslo. The lecture starts at 18:30 and has the title “Object and Fold: A Critique of Object-Oriented Philosophy”.
The lecture is open to all interested.
Levi Bryant is professor and discipline Lead for the Department of Philosophy at Collin College, Texas, and Chair of the Critical Philosophy program at the New Centre for Research and Practice. Bryant is the author of several books, including Difference and Givenness: Deleuze’s Transcendental Empiricism and the Ontology of Immanence, The Democracy of Objects, Onto-Cartogrpahy: An Ontology of Machines and Media, and co-editor of The Speculative Turn with Nick Srnicek and Graham Harman. He has also published a number of articles on Deleuze, Badiou, Zizek, Lacan, and political theory, ecology, and aesthetic theory.
